Hudson and Broome was founded in 2025 by mother-and-daughter team Helen and Serra Tekce.
With a deep-rooted background in adaptive clothing, we saw firsthand the gap between functionality and true design. Too often, people were asked to choose between comfort and style—we believed they deserved both.
Driven by that belief, we created Hudson and Broome: a collection where thoughtful functionality meets refined, modern design. Every piece is carefully considered, crafted to support real needs while maintaining the quality, confidence, and aesthetic you expect from premium clothing.
Helen Tekce
Helen is the co-founder and creative force behind Hudson and Broome. She is also the founder of Baby Be Mine Maternity and Gownies, brands that have supported countless women through important moments in their lives. Building on that legacy, she chose to embark on a new venture—bringing her experience and vision into the adaptive clothing space.
With over 20 years of experience in business ownership, design, and adaptive apparel, Helen brings both expertise and intention to every piece we create. Her work is guided by a deep understanding of the people we serve.
Helen’s passion lies in blending innovation with empathy—designing clothing that doesn’t just meet a need, but elevates the experience of wearing it. She believes that everyone deserves dignity, comfort, and confidence, and that what you wear should support you through every stage of life.
Serra Tekce
Serra is the co-founder and the other half of the mother-daughter team behind Hudson and Broome. She spent over a decade working alongside Helen, helping grow Baby Be Mine Maternity and Gownies, before setting out to build something of her own.
A Boston University graduate in Health Science and a former EMT, Serra brings a patient-centered perspective shaped by real, hands-on experience. Her time working directly with patients gave her a deep understanding of the challenges people face during recovery and everyday care.
With a strong background in marketing and a passion for improving patient comfort, Serra ensures that every design reflects both compassion and practicality. She is dedicated to creating recovery wear that is not only functional, but empowering—helping people feel more confident, supported, and at ease.
